IN MEMORY
OF BRENT LORENTZ
9/21/76 -- 12/12/92
On December 5, 1992, my son Brent Lorentz and two of his friends were walking along Thomas Road in Phoenix when a car suddenly pulled up alongside of them and fired a 12-gauge shotgun from the window of the car. The gun, fired at close range, hit Brent in the neck and face, killing him instantly. Revived by paramedics, Brent survived in a comatose state for seven days only to die from his wounds on Dec. 12. Sadly, Brent’s assailants were teenage boys that were total strangers to him and his friends! This was just another senseless act of violence committed by teenagers against other teens. Kids killing kids!
